Some Indonesian Food

Lempah Kuning
This is traditional food from Bangka Island, Sumatera. This is the mixture of fish and pineapple with turmeric and chilli as its based spice.

Mie Koba Bangka
Locally found in Bangka Island, Sumatra; This is traditional noodle with fish broth. Uniquely it doesn’t smell fishy at all.

Sate Ayam (Chicken Satay) + lontong (rice cooked in banana leaf)
This food is commonly found in any area of Indonesia. But this type of satay is originally comes from Madura. A small island in the north-eastern part of Java. Sate Madura is known for the peanut paste.

Spicy Squid with Basil

Pisang Coklat (Banana with Chocolate)

Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice)

Nasi Timbel (Rice Steamed in Banana Leaf –but different with lontong :P-)
This is originally comes from West Java. Usually eaten with fried chicken and tahu (something like tofu).

Sup Iga (Ribs Soup)
This food is Easily found in South Sulawesi. There also known as sup konro, but it uses different based seasoning

kan Bakar Bamboo (The fish is grilled inside a bamboo)

Mie Yamin

This food is  looks like a pancake though both use different dough. Surabi is originally from West Java. Traditional surabi is eaten with coconut milk and palm sugar, but later it’s been modified with various toppings.
