Ceviche, Peruvian Restaurant 17 Firth street , Soho

My wife and I visited this restaurant by pure chance last week.We initally wanted to go to a Tapas  restaurant but it was full so we thought about trying something new and we came across a Peruvian Food. Neither of us knew anything about Peruvian food.

We can safely say this was a great choice , the food was tasty with a hint of  heat and spice to make the dishes  distinctive with regard to flavour , the Amarillo sauce and the Huancaina Sauce were tastes we had never experienced before and we both liked.

The restaurant itself was packed for lunch which was a good sign , but it was  noisy , i dont think its a good place for a  date or buisness lunch but  for an everyday meal its more than satisfactory. The price is typical for the area. Both my wife and I have vowed to come here again.

Aspargus with Huancaina Sauce

Polpo Rico - Chicken in an Amarillo Sauce

Pulpo y Chorizo - Octopus and Chorzio

Jalea - Mox of Seafood with Salsa Criolla

Peruvian beer had a light taste which went well with the food Link to restaurant
