WAT PHRA KAEW

The Wat Phra Kaew which when translated into English means the Temple of the Emerald Buddha , is of major religious significance and is situated in the Phra Nakhon district of  Bangkok which is close to  the Grand Palace. It is believed to  have been Built in 1782.

  3. Ah...there is a Wat in Laos with the same name. Was expecting to see that here and got very confused :)

    Still nice find for me and great pictures. Would love to see it someday.
